The Community Funday team at Pollards Hill Baptist Church has been working hard on putting together the requirements for the 2022 event. It will be held on Saturday 27th August, between 12:00pm and 5:00pm at the usual venue: Pollards Hill Recreation Ground, Recreation Way.
With support from London Borough of Merton events team, the ground has been booked, final risk assessment documents have been completed and submitted, and invitations have been sent to the dignitaries for the day. This year, we are hoping to have a bigger and better event, whilst still ensuring that it is truly a fun day out for those who attend.
As with 2021, the health and wellbeing area will feature a host of providers whose services are aimed at ensuring we can live better quality of lives in Pollards Hill. We are expecting medical care professionals, therapists, as well as advice organisations to assist you where you need the help.
The food and drink suppliers and vendors have been booked, and besides having a DJ playing music from the stage, we will be hosting a number of live performances and karaoke sessions through the day.
